Biography Master of Art Maria Aristova

Maria Aristova is an artist, a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. In 2003 she graduated from the Johanson Lyceum. Since 2007, Maria has been actively exhibiting in Moscow. In 2008, Maria became a laureate of the All-Russian youth exhibition “Nadezhda”, CX, St. Petersburg. In 2010 she graduated from the I.Repin St. Petersburg State Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

In 2010- 2011 Maria actively collaborates with galleries in Stockholm, and even temporarily lives in this city. In 2012 she returned back to St. Petersburg. In 2013 she got Silver Award in the category of Rising Artists, ShowArtists.com, USA.

Maria has 16 solo exhibitions in Russia, Italy and Sweden, and participated in more than 100 international exhibitions and art projects.

Since 2015 she has been the founder of the art studio Art_place_spb, where she teaches painting, drawing and composition to children and adults.

Since 2018 Maria has been a leader and participant of the project “The artists paint St. Petersburg” , the project was presented at the Hermitage-Vyborg Exhibition Center, Vyborg, Russia.

Maria’s works are in private and museum collections in Russia, Europe, America, Australia, and China.
